A San Antonio Church In The NEISD

The Movement Church of San Antonio is located in the North East Independent School District (NEISD). Since we’re a brand new House Church Network, we’re looking to partner with people who have passion and a gift for church planting. If you are looking for an established church that has been around for years and runs program based ministries, then I’ll help you find one of those, but that’s not who we are.

Allow me to explain what I mean by that statement.

Every church is born with big dreams and a humble beginning. The kind of people who thrive in a church planting environment are those who get excited about seeing something emerge from nothing. It takes crazy dreams, a powerful vision and God-sized miracles for this to happen. The exciting thing is that it’s an experience you will never forget. People who start a new church take ownership and get involved in ministry. They are not merely pew sitters and attenders, but workers in the Kingdom and laborers in the harvest.

We are an equipping church. Our desire is to train people how to train others to fulfill The Great Commission of Jesus Christ, (Matthew 28:18-20). Our strategy for making disciples comes straight out of the New Testament. Yes, we are evangelical, missional, relational and somewhat unconventional–all at the same time. We have a blast doing new things to reach people who are far away from God. Because we are new, we don’t have any traditions or traditionalists to tell us “no” or how to operate.

This kind of experience may be what you have been looking for all of your Christian life. I know what that’s like. I couldn’t find a church like this one, so my friends and I started one, not for ourselves, but for the glory of God. I’d love to share more about this with you over a cup of coffee, a phone call, or an email. Give me a shout. I look forward to hearing from you.
