Movement Church

A Church Off Of North Loop 1604

The Movement Church of San Antonio is located off of Loop 1604 in North East San Antonio. We launched our first public service on Easter Sunday 2014. Simply stated, we’re a House Church Network.

We are a growing church reaching all ages. Our primary focus is to utilize the strategy of Jesus Christ to make disciples. In other words, we are training people who want to train others to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Our church is casual, unconventional, relational and imaginative.

We state our vision like this: We are moving “up” “in” and “out.” “Up” describes our relationship with God–to love Him with all of our heart, soul and mind. “In” is about “loving our neighbor as ourselves.” “Out” describes our desire to reach the world by being obedient to the Great Commission, (Matthew 28:18-20). Loving God, loving our neighbor, and reaching our world is heartbeat of the Movement.

We have home groups, or tribes as we call them, that meet in a variety of locations. These house churches are the training ground for launching a movement to plant more churches throughout San Antonio, and ultimately, the uttermost part of the world–all for the glory of God. We are not your typical attractional church. We are not interested in producing attenders of a church service, but radical disciple makers who want to enter the harvest of lost souls.

There is so much more to be said about the DNA of our church. I invite you to click on the “Discover It” menu item and find out more. We are easy to contact and convenient to locate off of North Loop 1604. It would be a pleasure to hear from you.
