Deerfield, San Antonio, TX

Deerfield (HOA) is a community of subdivisions in San Antonio, TX. It is located in the Northeast section of the city. Many of the homes, duplexes and apartments are in gated neighborhoods, but not all. Travelling around the area where Huebner, Bitters and Blanco streets come together gives one the sense of just how large this area really is.

Deerfield (Facebook) is a vast subdivision of subdivisions. Some of these include: Deer Hollow, The Reserve, The Fountains, Woods of Deerfield, Marquis at Deerfield, The Park at Deerfield and The Waters at Deerfield. There are many swimming pools and golf courses nearby that provide recreation for the whole family. In addition, shopping is convenient as well. It’s just a short driving distance to many national retail stores, and mom and pop shops that populate the commercial spaces on every major road.

The Movement Church of San Antonio is very near Deerfield. We offer a service on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM for the public. One of the things we do best is to organize home groups where community building and disciple making are the key emphases. Some call these small gatherings “house churches.” We like to call them “tribes.”

What makes us unique from other Christian ministries is our focus on equipping people to live out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We are evangelical and conservative, but not uptight. We seek to create friendly environments where people of all backgrounds can study the Word of God together, hang out and experience an abundant life under the canopy of God’s grace.
